Rebuilding method for elevated bridge

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently rebuild an elevated bridge for an expressway or the like without blockading the traffic. SOLUTION: After building a new bridge girder 1 directly below an old bridge girder 01, the new bridge girder 1 is moved upward, and the old bridge girder 01 is cut and separated from the bridge body while the new bridge girder 1 is supporting the load of the old bridge girder 01, the new bridge girder 1 is borne by bridge piers P1, P2 which previously supported the old bridge girder 01, then the old bridge girder 01 is wrecked and removed and thereafter an adjacent old bridge girder 02 is rebuilt sequentially to a new bridge girder 2 in the same manner.
